Mont d'Or 500g
Description
Mont D'or or Vacherin is a highly sought after cheese all over the world. It is named after Mont d'Or, the famous 'Golden Mountains' in the Jura region. A gooey, runny, sticky soft cheese, this is one of the few cheeses eaten with a spoon. It comes wrapped in spruce bark and only 11 factories in Jura can produce it.
There are many ways of cooking this - drizzle with olive oil, top with garlic and pepper or keep plain and pop it in the oven (in its original packaging) for about 10 minutes until it's gooey. Eat with a spoon or eat with a fresh baugette. There is truly nothing like this cheese.
