Brie Truffle Rouzaire
Description
Rouzaire has been an independent family owned company for 3 generations. The dairy and cellars are located in the heart of the Brie area. The AOC (name protected) status was awarded in 1980 to Brie de Meaux. Brie is believed to have been created prior to the 8th century. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk, it is one of the beloved cheeses of Charlemagne, the greatest king of France in the middle age.
This product is the result of a noble marriage between Brie cheese and the truffles of Perigord. The delicate yet powerful flavour of the truffles blends into the dense and nutty interior of the Brie, and combines into a delightful creamy concoction.
Brie aux Truffes goes well with white Burgundy wines such as Macon or Pouilly Fuisse.
