Christmas Order Dates

To ensure your order arrives by Christmas, please place any online orders by the following dates:

 

For chilled products (charcuterie, fromage, caviar):

  • South Island: Tuesday 10th December

  • North Island: Monday 16th December

 

For wine, dry goods and other non-chilled products:

  • North & South Island: Monday 16th December

 

**COURIER INFORMATION RE CHILLED ITEMS OVER THE SUMMER MONTHS**

Due to the current warm conditions, we are unable to courier chilled products to the South Island until further notice, and strongly advise against ordering chilled products for delivery to areas outside of metropolitan Auckland.

If you can't wait for your cheese (which we understand!), we can arrange an alternative chilled delivery service:

This costs from $15.53 (North Island) to $31.63 (Lower South Island) per box, and delivery will need to be to a business address within the commercial centre of your nearest town/city.

Local Delivery

Maison Vauron offers a $5.00 delivery service for all local deliveries. (Cost is per case, excluding GST.)

Local deliveries apply to areas within the Auckland Metro Area. The area we consider to be local may vary depending on the day’s deliveries.

 

Courier Delivery

We use trusted third-party carriers to deliver throughout New Zealand.

If you are not there when your package is delivered, a note will be left for you explaining how to arrange re-delivery.

Please be advised that we endeavour to despatch orders to ensure the optimal condition of the product upon delivery. Consequently, orders for perishable items are subject to delivery times noted in the table below.

Courier Delivery Costs

  • North Island $8.00 per case
  • South Island $9.00 per half case, $13.00 per case
  • Rural Delivery Add $6.00 per case
  • Waiheke Island $30.00 per case
  • Great Barrier Island We can offer a $5.00 local delivery to Auckland Domestic Terminal (Great Barrier Air). From there you must organise delivery to Great Barrier Island.

 

Courier Delivery Costs - Cheese Only

For orders over $150.00, we can offer a chilled freight service if you can provide a metro business address from which you can organise collection.

Cheese will be packed in a chilled container with an icepack. When ordering, please organise to have someone home to receive it or add special instructions for authority to leave. We will do our best to ensure it gets to you on time.

 

Tracking Your Delivery

When receiving delivery by courier, you will be sent an email once your order has been processed with the details of your delivery, including your information, reference number and tracking number. By clicking on the tracking number, you will be taken to the courier website where you can view status updates on your delivery.

 

Contactless Delivery

Authority to Leave is being applied to all residential and rural deliveries. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the delivery driver will note where the freight has been left e.g., the front door, and leave the consignment.

 

Returns

At Maison Vauron, all the wines we purchase must meet our own exacting standards. They are shipped here in refrigerated containers and stored in our insulated warehouse, where temperature fluctuations are minimal.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, do not hesitate to contact us on (09) 529 0157 and we will look to remedy the problem immediately.

  • If you've purchased wine from us that is not to your taste, we will replace the remaining unopened bottles in good condition with undamaged capsules and labels.
  • Faulty wines (corked, oxidised etc) will be replaced where possible, otherwise refunded.

 

Missing or Damaged Items

If any damage to your package has incurred during transit, please contact us on (09) 529 0157

For picking errors or goods damaged in transit, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package. Please hold onto any damaged bottles as we would need them to discuss the incident with our couriers.

 

Please note that orders will only be shipped to a PHYSICAL NZ ADDRESS; we will not deliver to PO boxes.
