Gruyere Francais
Description
The Fromagers en Bourgogne cheese dairy was created in 1951. It then mainly produced semi-hard cooked cheeses. The cheese dairy remained faithful to its know-how, gastronomy and its terroir, and combines modernity with a respect for traditions. The milk is collected within a radius of 30 km around the cheese dairy from 27 producers.
Gruyere de Bourgogne is a cooked pressed cheese made with thermised milk and with a fruity taste. As a result of ripening (min 2 months), the rind may show a few eyes and will reveal the flavours.
It pairs perfectly with red Burgundy wines.
