Château du Cléray is situated on a siliceous-clay soil. The clay is the backbone of the wines of Sauvion, they are very terroir influenced. The silica will give tenderness and delicacy to the wines. The specificities of the subsoils of Château du Cléray give the wines their unique personality. At Cleray the traditions have been passed from father to son for 4 generations.
