Piedlong
Domaine la Roquete Piedlong is a relatively new cuvee from the Brunier family (2011 was the first vintage). The wine has completely replaced both red wines from La Roquete, their regular Chateauneuf du Pape and l’Accent de la Roquete.
Piedlong takes its name from the rock infused and stone covered soils where their best vines are placed, on the Plateau du Piedlong. Over time, brothers Frederic and Daniel Brunier - the fourth generation - felt that there was something special about the Plateau du Piedlong that deserved to be showcased.
