Description
In 1975, Schlossberg was the first Alsace vineyard to be declared a Grand Cru. The granite hill faces directly south, and nightly breezes cool the vineyard as air is funneled up and down the narrow valley. The stony soil provides good drainage and determines the finesse and multiplicity of aromas in the wines. The steepness of the slope means that the Schlossberg must be cultivated in terraces.
Riesling Grand Cru Sclossberg from the Organic Albert Mann estate in Alsace is characterised by its very fine, richly floral bouquet. It has a great aromatic complexity, dominance of fruits, with length and freshness. Delicate and distinguished, it will age very well indeed.
Grape 100% Riesling
