This wine displays an appreciable amount of wood though it’s not enough to prevent the purple fruited and floral-scented nose to be appreciated. There is an opulent mouth feel to the generously proportioned flavours that coat the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the textured and ever-so-mildly austere finale.
