"Located just to the East of Beaune, Domaine Marchand-Tawse taps into a fruitier expression of these 48-year-old vines situated at the bottom of the slope. The wine from this 1er cru is delicately made, with less than a third of the barrels being new and all having a soft toast to them. Like all their estate wines, Marchand-Tawse follows the lunar calendar to make a wine that is naturally harmonious.
