Description
The vines are located on the village of Volnay, in the South-East of the village. Mainly on the appellation "Les Blanches?, "Les Grands Champs? and « Pluchots » Soil: Bathonian limestone is stony, ferruginous, reddish, on brown silts.
Volnay combines breeding with nobility, delicacy, elegance and feminity. bright ruby, light garnet, its aromas of violet, redcurrant, cherry and with age spices, and cooked prune. Fresh on the palate, warm on the finish, one believes to bite into the fruit and breathe its flesh.
Grape 100% Pinot Noir
Food match roasted or stewed game birds. Couscous or tagine with meat or poultry or both. Cheeses with strong flavors.
