Fèvre's Bourgogne blanc is 100% Chardonnay from their 1.65 hectare plot in Tonnerre. The vines are grown on rich clay soils with Kimmeridgean calcareous marl. Pale gold in color, this white offers beautiful aromatics of white orchard fruits mixed with white flowers and a hint of toasted almonds. The medium-bodied palate displays flavors of green apple and Asian pear with a slightly rounded mid-palate due to its sur lies aging. Fèvre Chardonnay possesses outstanding balance with a delightful interplay of refreshing acidity and chalky minerality that leads to a long vibrant finish.
