Description
Domain Gachot Monot are known for their dense and powerful wines from Nuits-St-Georges, and Les Poulettes is no exception. It sits in a little valley cut into the predominantly east facing slope, giving the vineyard a more southern aspect. The soil is stony and thin limestone, which provides a lot of drainage. All these factors have produced a wine that is aromatic without compromising on body. It tends to drink best after 6-8 years in the cellar.
