Description
First made in 1959, Château d’Yquem’s dry white “Y” is a masterpiece of white Bordeaux. The fruit is selected early on in the vintage, with some of the bunches even coming from the same vines as the extraordinary sweet wine. The wine spends considerable time during its maturation process in French Oak barrels approximately 50% of them are new. The production of Y is small, fewer than 1,000 cases are made each year making this sensational wine even more exciting.
