Description
Possibly one of the most famous of the Volnay 1er Cru vineyards, Champans is perfectly situated in the belt of great vineyards running from Beaune to Montrachet. The de Montille vines run up along the slope, taking advantage of the array of soils mixed into the deep gravels of the vineyard. The wines can take time to develop in the bottle, so store this one away for a few years if you can.
