This plot is just below the road to Beaune and was planted back in 1955. It is a warm slope just beneath the 1er Cru Les Vergelesse. The iron and clay rich soils give this one a good aromatic depth and density on the palate, with gently fresh tannins. Drink 3-10+ years from vintage.
Grape 100% Pinot Noir
Food match Roasted poultry, grilled meats or meat in sauce. Mild cheeses are also good partners.
