The Cotes du Roussillon Villages l’Esquerda comes from one of the most exciting terroirs in the Roussillon: the decomposed granite soils around the village of Lesquerde on the western edge of the Agly Valley. Destemmed and aged all in concrete, it offers loads of minerality and wet earth characteristics, medium-bodied richness, fine tannin, beautiful purity, and tons of black and blue-styled fruits. It will evolve nicely for 6-7 years, possibly longer.
