Remembering David Hall-Jones of Domaine Thomson wines

We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of one of our producers, David Hall-Jones, esteemed owner of Domaine Thomson wines. David and his wife PM own two organic vineyards — one in Burgundy in France and another in Lowburn in Central Otago, overlooking Lake Dunstan.

It is with a heavy heart we would like to inform you of the loss of David Hall-Jones, owner of Domaine Thomson wines, who recently passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 

We recognise that many of you cherished David and knew him well. Your continued support for our wines, which David deeply valued, means the world to us.

David will be deeply missed by his wife, PM Hall-Jones, and their sons, William and Hugh.

The Domaine Thomson family remains resolute in continuing David's legacy. Under their stewardship, Domaine Thomson Wines is poised to continue its status as one of New Zealand's leading organic wine brands, ensuring David's legacy remains a beacon of quality and tradition in the wine world.
