Goat cheese, Fig jam & Bayonne Ham Tartine

Tasty and indulgent treat for Sunday brunch, easy to make by Dad and the little ones!
Makes 6 Tartines:
- 1 French baguette
- Olive oil, thyme, garlic
- Salt, freshly ground pepper
- 1 log of fresh goat cheese Le chef
- 1 jar of Bonne Maman fig jam
- 3 slices of Bayonne ham
- 6 fresh basil leaves
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven on 180C
- Rub the baguette with a garlic clove
- Slice six 1cm slices of baguette
- Brush generously with olive oil
- Bake for around 10 minutes or until golden brown
- Break down the goat cheese with a fork, add a little salt and pepper and a few thyme leaves
- Spread some goat cheese on each piece of bread, then a teaspoon of fig jam
- Fold the slices of ham and place on top of each tartine
- Garnish with a fresh basil leave and a crack of black pepper
